John L Trucksis founded Trucksis
Enterprises in
Chicago, Illinois in 1980.
With thirty-five years experience in the
flag and banner industry, in 1980 John L. Trucksis founded Trucksis
Enterprises, Inc. in Chicago, Ill. Following John’s death in 1983, his
daughter Merry, following a strong desire to fulfill her father’s vision
and integrating her design and sales experience, stepped into the
leadership role of the business. Merry quickly expanded the business to
include banner and flag design, in addition to distributing raw materials
and finished products, and providing consulting services to Trucksis
customers.
Trucksis
moves to California and builds strong client portfolio
In 1985 Merry moved the
business to Lake Tahoe, California, and within a year was awarded the
downhill ski event flag business for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Val d’Isere, France. In an effort to insure long-term business success, Merry
conducted extensive market research and discovered a strong market existed
for Trucksis products and services in the Monterey Peninsula area. In 1987
the business moved to Monterey and through persistent sales efforts
Trucksis built a portfolio of prestigious clients including the Pebble
Beach Company, AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Concours d’Elegance, the
Salinas Rodeo, Laguna Seca Raceway and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Trucksis
currently boasts a national client base including premier clients MCI,
HSBC, LeMans Corporation and Nextel.
Trucksis
establishes manufacturing facility and expands services
In 1991, after many years
of expanding knowledge of the signage and flag industry Trucksis
established a 4,000 square foot manufacturing and retail facility, where
custom flags and banners are made to client specifications. Equipment
includes state-of-the-art sewing and digital output equipment to provide
the highest quality signage products for their clients. A complete rental
department is available to help smaller clients produce professional
promotions at a lower cost than custom signage. Trucksis also provides
storage, cleaning and inventory management assistance. In addition to the
production facility Trucksis maintains a full service vehicle fleet and
installation equipment capable of handling virtually all client signage
needs. Their 60 ft aerial lift truck can install super large banners and
signs, as well as; repair flagpoles up to 50 feet in height.

in business Trucksis continues to expand their products and services and
build strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Trucksis
